Why Giving Back Matters to Me: Supporting Local Arizona Communities

Community Is More Than Where We Live

Real estate is about homes and neighborhoods, but at its core, it’s really about people. The strength of a community isn’t just measured by property values or growth — it’s measured by how we support one another, especially during times of need.

Giving back has always mattered to me because Arizona isn’t just where I work — it’s home. Supporting local organizations that serve students, families, and individuals across the Valley is something I genuinely care about and actively prioritize.

Local Arizona Organizations I’m Proud to Support

Arizona has no shortage of incredible nonprofits making a real impact. A few organizations, in particular, are especially meaningful to me.

St. Mary’s Food Bank

St. Mary’s Food Bank plays a vital role in addressing food insecurity across Arizona. Volunteering and supporting their mission has been a powerful reminder of how many families rely on community resources — and how meaningful it is when people step up to help. Access to food is foundational, and St. Mary’s continues to make a lasting difference throughout the Valley.

Treasure House

Treasure House is an organization that truly embodies community and compassion. Their mission centers on providing supportive living environments for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping foster independence, dignity, and belonging. Treasure House isn’t just creating housing — they’re creating opportunity and lifelong support systems.

Cardinals Climb

I’m also proud to support Cardinals Climb, a unique event hosted by the Arizona Cardinals Foundation at State Farm Stadium. It’s more than just a climb — it’s a way for the community to come together, have fun, and raise funds for Arizona-based organizations that support individuals and families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs).

Participants of all ages and abilities take on stadium-inspired routes, finishing at the 50-yard line, and the event includes a celebration with activities for everyone. What I love about Cardinals Climb is that it combines fitness, family, and philanthropy, allowing people to literally take steps to make a difference. Supporting this event reminds me that giving back can be creative, engaging, and impactful — and that community support comes in all shapes and forms. (cardinalsclimb.com)

The Owl Closet – Agua Fria High School

One of the most personal organizations I support is The Owl Closet, located at Agua Fria High School and run by my mom. The Owl Closet provides clothing, food, and essential items to students and families within the district who need extra support.

Seeing firsthand how access to basic necessities can positively impact students’ confidence, well-being, and success makes this cause incredibly close to my heart. It’s a reminder that even small acts of support can have life-changing effects.

Why Giving Back Matters — Especially Locally

As Arizona continues to grow, it’s important that we don’t lose sight of what truly makes communities strong. Giving back helps ensure that growth includes everyone — not just those who benefit most easily from it.

Giving back matters to me because:

  • It strengthens communities beyond real estate

  • It supports students, families, and individuals during critical moments

  • It creates real impact at the local level

  • It keeps me connected to the people and places that make Arizona special

These values are the same ones I bring into my work every day.

Building Stronger Communities Together

Giving back isn’t about recognition — it’s about participation. Whether through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading awareness, every effort helps strengthen the community we all share.

If you’re interested in learning more about St. Mary’s Food Bank, Treasure House, Cardinals Climb, or The Owl Closet, or would like to get involved in future opportunities, I’d love to connect.

Community Comes First

Arizona is more than a place to live — it’s a place to belong. Supporting organizations that uplift students, families, and individuals is something I’m proud to be part of and will continue to prioritize.

If you ever have questions about Arizona, local organizations, or real estate in the Valley, I’m always happy to help. Let’s keep building stronger communities — together.
